I see a lot of young men in tight burnt sienna/russet pants. When I thought "that looks lame" it was at that point I realised I was now officially old.

I lived in crop tops all summer here in Oz. I also love ankle-biter jeans because they're the only sort I can get that actually fit me (7/8 for a person of normal height is my full leg length).

I will never understand people who wear a patterned shirt and a very-differently patterned skirt/pair of pants. Stop mixing your spots and paisley, your floral and stripes, your zigzags and weird repeated print of doge (I saw this on a skirt at work yesterday).

I will also never understand people wearing tights as pants. I don't care how nice your butt is - stop it. Or wear something longer over the top. Particularly when you are at work. I have seen teachers wearing tights as pants and it's just not appropriate.

I'm not a fan of crop tops, sorry :( Just not my style; I would never wear them unless paired with a high-waisted skirt or something essentially covering the... crop.

Is showing ankles really a thing to be disliked? xD I didn't even know this was a thing! I am fairly certain my skinny jeans show my ankle. I will have to flaunt my daring a bit more. :smug:

Im at the weight now where stretching my arms lifts my shirt enough to almost reveal my belly botton so being against crop tops would be hypocritical (not that I really care what other people wear)

I dont understand ties. They dont keep your neck warm like a scarf and just make it easier for people to strangle you

:hahaha: Don't worry - it's cool. It's going to take more than you disliking some trends for me to change my wardrobe. We all have different tastes - that's what makes us unique. I just like hi-lo skirts because my shoes are all excellent and I want to show them off to the world. It's also nice to feel like I am wearing a cape because they billow as you walk.

I'm not a fan of crop tops, but mostly because I just won't wear them. I find lots of nice tops and then I realise they're actually cropped and then I'm sad. :(

I think crop tops are cute- especially if they're a little baggy or something.

I own a black strapless dress that's hi-lo.. It's adorbs, but the "lo" part goes all the way down to almost my ankles.

Mixing patterns doesn't bother me either.. I think it looks really good if it's done right. Otherwise, it's a disaster.

There really aren't any trends in fashion that bother me, tbh.. Other than dudes sagging their pants. That drives me insane. lol

You're right, tights are not pants, and people who wear them as pants as gross. I think that as long as what it is you are wearing isn't see-through enough to show off your ass, ladybits and underwear, it's cool. I know that yoga pants get hated on a lot, but there are some completely opaque leggins in black or other colors or patterns that look great under big billowy shirts with boots. I love that look :jess:

I totally agree that these folks look great. This is because they're wearing their tights under something, which I would like to say is what they are designed for. I just hate seeing people (particularly at work!) wearing just a semi-fancy shirt and a pair of tights and you can see their entire butt and the place where the top of the tights digs into their stomach and whatnot. Tights under tunic tops and dresses are great - I wear this a lot in the autumn/spring months.

Wearing tights/yoga pants with a long top or whatever is fine. Strongly encouraged, even. Please show off your legs etc, I am v. keen. But, like, you have to wear something at least covers some or your ass. It's just not right to wear something that skin tight and have it showing. I'm fickle, I guess.

I never really understood wearing a baseball cap sideways. They're shaped to fit your head so it can't be comfortable. I guess it's a fashion or w/e but it doesn't really do anything except sit awkwardly and shade the side of your neck.

I'm also not a fan of people who don't bend the bill of their hat and keep the sticker on it. It looks gaudy to me.

Really anyone who tries too hard to convey a certain image, when it's apparent they're trying to parrot back a look that's seemingly non-conformist.

Honestly, when it gets down to it I'm not bothered by people wearing whatever they want to wear. But there are certain looks which automatically set off the "you're trying to hard" radar. Prime example: Someone who has pants well below their boxers, despite wearing a belt. Also, I went to a carnival a few years back and there were a few guys walking around sucking on blinged out pacifiers.

I just don't care that much about how I look. I can't be bothered. Jeans and t-shirts forever.
