How much do you talk to yourself?

I talk to myself A LOT. I always have. Even when I'm out. Sometimes I have a thought and I just have to say it out loud, so I literally have to kind of mumble it so people on the street can't see my lips moving and think I'm crazy.

I have some of my best conversations with myself, actually. I'm a very good listener.

I don't talk to myself. I talk to Parker.

I don't talk to myself unless I'm ranting, then I'll mumble words like "unbelievable" and "are you fucking kidding me".

Only when I'm too wrapped up in my thoughts and I inadvertently end up saying them out loud!

I've once had a conversation with myself and I asked myself a question I couldn't answer, so there was this awkward silence.

I tried talking to myself. Was a complete and utter bastard, never talking to him again. Arse

I do it all the time at work when I'm concentrating on something. I don't even realise until somebody asks me if I'm talking to them! :jess:

I think aloud sometimes, particularly when I am home alone. It's not so much actually talking to myself... just saying what I am thinking. xD

Not usually. If I ever do it's always self mocking. That Mr. Shauna Fellow is a Dunce.

I used to a bit, when alone. Not as much anymore.

If I'm very troubled I will have a literal conversation with myself. Go through everything. It's easier than thinking it, thoughts are too scattered! :nonono:

I don't talk to myself (yes he does) unless I'm ranting (lies) or acting out a scene I saw somewhere as I tend to do. (The boy used to draw a wrestling ring in chalk and wrestle with himself. He wrestled with himself!) I'm a phenomenon :(

I have angry conversations with myself. When I'm mad at something I talk my side of the argument out. Usually makes me more mad but then i'm more rehearsed when I do get into those arguments.

Otherwise I don't talk to myself much. I laugh at myself a lot though.

This and what Freya said exactly. There have been a couple of times that I've been pissed or outraged enough to just pace for hours and talk it out to myself. Better than putting a hole in the wall.

Or, you could put a hole in the wall, then draw a face in it, and talk to that!

I find myself to be a wonderful conversationalist. I talk at the right moments and do not talk when I do not need to and there is no awkward silences. I am perfectly comfortable with talking with myself, I have a real strong affinity for talking with myself.

I talk to myself fairly often. Particularly when planning, writing or editing pieces. But sometimes I just describe what I am doing or talk for no reason. Or make up strange little jingles that I sing to random tunes.

Have any of you ever been caught? Some times my dad will catch me talking to myself and be like this: :stare:

Pfft I openly talk to myself while other people are around. If they aren't used to it yet, they soon will be.

If I ever get caught I quickly try to disguise it by singing. Singing to yourself is slightly less strange, I suppose!

You, my friend, are an inspiration to us all.
