Which Hogwarts house would you be in?

I know, Harry Potter discussions or soooo a few months ago, but which Hogwarts house do you see yourself being sorted into if you were there?

I'd want to be sorted into Ravenclaw because I like ravens and the color blue, but I think solely on personality and qualities I'd be sorted into Hufflepuff, and I can get down with that. Huffle in the puffle, yo!

Well hot damn, I actually got Hufflepuff. At 83% too. I didn't understand how the questions determined the house so I couldn't fix the quiz either.

Well, I've never seen or read the Harry Potter series, so I have no idea which option would steer me towards whatever house. I decided to use what others have used, this Pottermore site.This is what I choose, for each question:

Q4 - What are you most looking forward to learning at Hogwarts: All about magical creatures, and how to befriend/care for them

Q5 - One of your housemates has cheated in a Hogwarts exam by using a self spelling quill. Now he has come top of the class in Charms, beating you into second place. Professor Flitwick is suspicious of what happened. He draws you to one side after his lesson and asks whether or not your classmate used a forbidden quill. I think it should be noted that I split between Slytherin and Hufflepuff, but personally I identify more as a Slytherin. I also get Ravenclaw and Gryffindor sometimes too. I just think that I'm a little too calculating to be a Hufflepuff (also, I am lazy).

I think the whole point is that everyone embodies a certain amount of traits from each house, but your house is how you mainly identify. That's why there are brave Hufflepuffs and smart Gryffindors and and hardworking Ravenclaws and friendly Slytherins.

But yes, Formy, I'd definitely place you in Hufflepuff. That's a good place for you to be. :)

As far as the Pottermore badges, Hufflepuff's is by the best. The yellow gems on the black metal really pop!

Tests usually sort me into Gryffindor or Ravenclaw, which considering how I value friendship, loyalty, knowledge and responsibility the most, is pretty accurate. Voted Ravenclaw, however, as that's what Pottermore sorted me into. It was almost a tie.

I think your house is based on qualitites you value, not qualities you possess. Thats why you Hermione was sorted into Griffindor even though she was rolling in cleverness or why Neville went to Griffindor even though he has very little courage to start with. It also explains why Crabbe and Goyle go to Slytherin even though they seem to have little cunning or ambition.
