Only after Bleysie comes home late and in a stupor.

You have to do it either every day, or after you drunkenly piss in it to get revenge on your cats.

Carpie and Bleysie are their names. They love to snuggle next to one another.

There's some "art" portraying their warm fuzziness together. I don't have it, but maybe a connoisseur of the post post-modern has it stored away somewhere.

Don't need to! Since my cat became an indoor/outdoors cat, he has abandoned use of his litter box.

Never, cause I never had a cat to begin with.

I don't fuck with that shit. I just dump the whole box of sand into the garbage and put fresh sand in it every week.

Once a day. Not really much choice when you've got five cats.

Never. My cat would hate me, if I had one.

You guys need to potty train your cat like that one on the internet. If you need to see it just search Youtube.

I try to do this at least twice a week.

I don't own a cat though... and my neighbours are getting a bit fed up with finding me in their house.

Never. Somebody has always done this for me! And rightly so.

Why can't cats just use the toilet like everyone else

once a day because she poops outside of it if I don't

if you get a Litter Genie it's ezmode and actually kind of fun

My brother's cat actually uses the toilet sometimes! The human toilet. I've never seen it but aparently it happens. Or wait, I think he said she poops next to the human toilet if they're not in. Which is less good. But still quite cute.

with 4 cats in the house we try and do it everyday. It doesn't always work like that.

I personally have two. Then each of my roommates has one. I initially moved in alone so 2 was perfect.

We buy science diet and fussy cat wet food. It's costs us about $200 a month for food and litter.

If I ever have a cat it will be taught to use the toilet. Fuck litter boxes.

Pike

We buy science diet

speaking as someone who worked full time at a pet store for three years, Science Diet is INCREDIBLY overrated and unless you're feeding one of the prescription versions then feel free to buy something else instead :p

I completely disagree. My cats coat is 10 times nicer since he's switched. I had previously been feeding him the most expensive Purina my store had. Also the food is bigger so my roommates fat cat that inhales his food and then pukes it up all over has to actually chew it now. Also the fatty has bladder issues and has to eat certain foods or he clogs his urethra and that already cost us $1500 once.

That's your problem, Purina is crap too so you could switch to anything and see an improvement

Yes but they all dont address the fatties issues ;)

I use Beneful which is made by Purina and it seems to work really well with the dogs' weight watching. They have a healthy diet one and a healthy coat one. The healtly coat one really makes their coats shine. I know that's a bit irrelevant to cat people, but though I'd throw that out of there in case there is a Beneful cat food. It is rated really bad on the Petco list though.

I am not a big Beneful fan at all, but because I keep derailing this thread I'm going to stop now xD
