I always find Sundays a little depressing. I've always got "Sunday Anxiety" due to having to go back to work/school on Monday. It seems to be one long day of waiting for the other shoe to drop. Sundays don't seem bad only during American Football season, which is the one sport I still really forward.

Fridays are always nice, even if it's my busiest day @ work. They tend to go by fast, & I have Saturday coming up. Of course, Saturdays are great. Even for the period of having to work on Sundays, Saturdays never had the same morbid feeling that Sundays do.

How about all of you? What's your favorite & least favorite days of the week & why?

The days I work are variable so days don't really mean anything special to me. In fact, I usually forget what day it is.

I work Sat-Tues 10am-9pm

Sat: Oh god why
Sun: Nearly half way
Mon: Blergh, weekend please
Tues: Can today go any slower?
Weds: YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY, Stay in bed till silly o'clock
Thurs: Bit bored actually
Fri: I DON'T WANT TO GO TO WORK TOMORROW, EVERYONE ELSE IS GOING TO BE HAVING FUN. SO. UNFAIR.

I like Mondays because it's when my work is usually done and I'm allowed to rest and feel proud for a couple of seconds before getting back to work.

Wednesdays because that's usually the day I eat out and I just like Wednesdays.

I hate the weekend because that's usually when my workload is the heaviest.

Where I work they're trying to get people to change their schedules to Fri-Mon. Even w/ 3 days off, it's not worth it if everything happens when I'm @ work.

They change my mom's hours pretty much every week now. She hasn't had a set schedule since last year.

Everyday is terrible for me. On Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays, I have my dialysis treatments at midday. However, I may have to say that Mondays are pretty good, since it's my start of the week, and a lot of things usually happen on Mondays.

Days are basically like this

Mondays - ew
Tuesdays - meh
Wednesdays - almost over
Thursdays - see above
Fridays - tgif
Saturdays - time to catch up on sleep
Sundays - tv show day

I also hate Sundays! I am always slightly on edge because I'm going back to work on Monday, even though I have worked at this job for like 2 years and know everyone there and am loved like a little puppy that sits in the corner and looks at you with big blue eyes.

I love the Friday feeling, finishing work, that first well deserved beer! I like Saturdays too. My favourite day is generally the day of the weekend that I have the best plans.

I try to enjoy my Sunday as much as possible, but the 'oh, back to work tomorrow :(' creeps in later in the day. Not today, though! I'm excited to watch the GoT finale tomorrow night with my boyfriend and friends, and that will get me through the working day.

Monday's are usually the worst, but only the having to wake up early and getting back into the daily grind schedule. After a few hours, I'm happy again! :jess:

Friday - Yay! After 5pm I'm free for the weekend! Saturdays are great, but the first few hours aren't that fun because I go into a cleaning frenzy, even though I clean every evening during the week after work.

It use to be Thusdray-Friday because thats when a lot of my favourite shows came out but at this moment everything is between seasons or finished so monday (aus time) is my favourite until game of thrones S4 finishes.

I like Saturdays because I'm off and have Sunday off. I dislike Mondays and Tuesdays but I get paid every other Tuesday so some of them aren't bad.

This is a really difficult question for me because I never work the same days, so some days will suck some weeks but be fine other weeks. My favourite day at the moment is probably Tuesday, because I get most Tuesdays off and they're pretty relaxing. Least favourite days are whenever I'm working, or the night before when I'm working because I have to actually go to bed at a decent hour and it sucks.

Shiny is correct in this thread. Saturdays are the best, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the worst. Mondays usually go by so quickly that I don't have time to sit around complaining that it's Monday, and sometimes we get Mondays off for holidays, so they aren't that bad.

Tuesdays and Wednesdays are bitches, though. smurf those days.

I'm your standard 9-to-5-er, except it's 8-to-5, with 8-to-1 on a Friday, and of the typical type who hates work and only does it as an unfortunate life necessity that we're stuck with for 40-50 years where we only enjoy 2 days out of 7 (bah). Basically this means:

Monday: Hate. Whole working week ahead, and still tired because my ageing body can no longer shrug off weekend drinking and kind of needs double the sleep (which I don't give it) for days I've had more than a couple of pints.

Tuesday: Also hate, because being 1 day into the week never feels like as much progress as it should.

Wednesday: Like, much better, I'm half way now!

Thursday: Almost there, it's "Friday Eve", woohoo! After this, only a half day to go!

Friday: BEST DAY, because after 1pm, the day is my own to do what I want with. I used to get a pizza involved, but that wasn't so good for my weight. Kind of a shame as I loved the magic of an evening indoors watching TV with 4 bottled ales and a pizza. However, it's still best day.

Saturday: Second best day and also excellent, but with an expectation of socialising on the evening. Usually this is good, because yay! Friends! But I do get a guilty pleasure from being a loner on Fridays :P (And I socialise online)

Sunday: Yah boo... a very mixed day. Positive in that I get some more free time. Negative in that I have to tone down the drinking so that I'm not dead to the world on Monday, have to iron a formal shirt and trousers for work (I hate ironing), and kind of expected to go to a quiz that I don't know any answers to. Then all that's left to look forward to is Monday.
