Why is Jecht half naked?

One day when Jecht was very small he found a kitten on the way to school. It was all alone and too weak to fend for itself so Jecht scooped it up and put it in his large, multi-pocketed trenchcoat he always wore from the age of three onwards.

Jecht's day at school was relatively normal; the kitten didn't fret much as long as he kept putting little baby mice in the pocket for it to eat. Every half hour or so, Jecht would sneak off to the toilet to hug and kiss the kitten and make sure it was okay. This was normal behaviour for Jecht, as he had a bladder issue that was not to be resolved until he was twenty two years old - but that's another story!

On his way home the school bully, Tidus, (Jecht would later name his only son after him, so that he could more easily be cruel and neglectful to the child,) caught up with Jecht and began his usual game of weeing on Jecht's shoes from behind as walked.

'cut it out tidus, god i hate you, you're pathetic and you're only doing this because you're insecure and have been bullied yourself in the past' said Jecht, wiping fresh tears from his eyes.

'hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha' said Tidus, weeing harder than ever before.

Little did either of the boys know, but the urine was soaking up through Jecht's trenchcoat and began filling up the pockets. Before either of them knew anything the kitten had drowned!

'oh boy oh boy, i shouldn't have drank all that capri-sun. i'm sorry jecht, see you tomorrow pipsqueak' said Tidus, walking away somberly.

Jecht cried and cried. It was on that day he vowed never to wear anything on his torso again, no matter what the weather, in memory of the kitten he had lost. He held a small service in his garden. No one spoke.

Jecht would never find out, but the kitten had actually escaped from his pocket during the urine flooding and what he thought was the corpse of the kitten was actually a baby mouse.

The kitten would later grow into a cat, that was later stuffed, which you may all know as Cait Sith. The end :greenie:
