So while I was on ebay looking up a laptop for my university course (BSc Computing & IT) I came across a laptop with the following spec:
Intel Core i5-4200U (1.6 GHz, 3 MB cache, 2 cores)
4 GB DDR3L
Intel HD Graphics 4600
1 TB 5400 rpm SATA
SuperMulti DVD±RW with double layer support
Display 39.6 cm (15.6") HD WLED BrightView (1366 x 768)
Now my only concern is the CPU... I found another one for the same price with the following spec:
Intel Core i3 ( 3110M) 2.40GHz 3MB (L3 Cache)
4096MB 1600MHz DDR3
500GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
Screen 15.6in HD non-reflective High Brightness Colour
Which is the better laptop, I don't intend to do graphics so I don't need an amazing GPU so no worries on that account, I just want the better CPU to keep up with everything I need on my course.
If you could also tell me which of the 2 CPUs is better and why... from my limited perspective I would say the i3 is better as both have dual cores.
