I love the sound of rain! I'm not too keen on walking through it but just listening to it is lovely.

What is your opinion on rain?

Rain is my favorite weather condition. I love being in it, I love listening to it, I love it. Umbrellas are my favorite accessory.

I don't like being out in it, but I don't mind it overall... Sometimes, though, for some reason, it puts me in either a somber or cranky mood. :eep:

I'm from Manchester and it pretty much rains here all the time. It doesn't really bother me. Sunshine is far more appealing.

I like rain sometimes. I've been liking it more lately cuz it's just been so damn hot in here and usually with rain comes lower temps for a couple of days.

I also like rain cuz soup.

It's been such a rainy summer so far and I'm loving it. Rain is good.

Raining is fine but not with lightning. I have the tendency to walk outside to a lightning storm and try dodging any incoming lightning that tries to hit me. :(

PS: Sometimes I move my bathtub out when it rains.

Pretty sure that NYC rain is in the top 5 worse rain ever. I've had several strong and weak umbrellas break. I've also been drenched horribly because it started to randomly rain on my way to work one time and no one reported it correctly. That was a rare occurrence though.

Rain is good when I'm indoors and don't have to go anywhere. Especially good when it's sleepy time because I like the sound of it on the window. :jess:

Rain when I have to go outside...:mad2:

OMG I love rain. So much. It is the very best weather condition, hands down, pants down.

I love hearing it, I love being in it, I love the way it makes the world smell as it falls.

I don't use umbrellas. But that might be a PNW thing. Most of us from the PNW don't use 'em. Umbrellas are for bitches.

Thunder and lightning are pretty great too, but nothing beats a warm summer downpour.

I love being in it.

Umbrellas are my favourite accessory.

I call shenanigans.

Aside from that I sometimes listen to this: http://www.rainymood.com/ when I have trouble sleeping, which is practically every day.

I would also recommend listening to this at the same time as the rain, it's exquisite :hattip:

If I don't have to go anywhere, it's perfect.

But if it knocks the power out at night :argh:

I love rain when I have no where to be, but I hate driving in the rain. I particularly love rain when it's night time - the sound of rain is pretty soothing when I'm trying to sleep. I don't like it hanging around for too long though because too many dark cloudy days and I start to go a bit stir crazy.

I love rain as well. I find it refreshing. It smells nice, it feels nice, it looks pretty, it makes other things look pretty, it makes me calmer and happier. The only time I don't like it is when its VERY HEAVY and I have to drive and I can't see a darn thing

Also sometimes I feel like I'm living in a movie because whenever I get news that someone died, it rains

I like it, but I've been annoyed with my area recently because it won't stop storming every night. It's not even those interesting storms. It's those stupid ones where it will lighting and thunder a couple of times and then sort of rain a bit in spurts so the humidity increases. Tonight is not so bad, though.

I make this joke at him whenever he says that, followed by whooshing noises.

I used to hate being out in rain - I pride myself on looking sharp and my hair would get all messed up and wet!

I have shorter hair now and sometimes choose to wear a hat so now, I don't mind being out in rain at all! In fact I kinda like it. Obviously I still don't like getting soaked, who likes that?

Love being inside and hearing rain though. Beautiful sound!

I need to carry around a picture of a fan to place over my face whenever I say that because it happens far too fucking frequently. I'm a fan of everything, apparently.

inb4 someone or thing called everything rocks up with a grin

It's raining today, I don't mind this because I can wear tight jeans rather than shorts, a parker jacket over my t-shirt with the hood up over my hat and look really cool :greenie:

I like rain quite a bit until I want to go swimming and it wants to threaten to storm on me all day. You can't go swimming in the river in a thunderstorm and I don't want to drive an hour to get stormed out of the river!

But if it wanted to rain every evening after sundown I would be ok with that.

It's better than a drought but I could take it or leave it. My car has terrible grip on wet ground.
