I never played this game on an SNES :( I emulated it, and then later played it on the GBA.

What are some of your confessions?

Off the top of my head . . .

1) I abuse the crap out of the M .Evade bug. T -T

2) I'm a dirty thief and steal Mog's equipment

3) I constantly curse Realm to a life of leaping Impitude.

4) I skip Celes. A LOT. Woe be to poor Kutan, though, as he is the one who ultimately suffers from my actions, invariably polymorphed into an opera floozy by unavoidable cutscene vodoo and forced forevermore into a life he never knew -- a life he never wanted!!! I guess, on the plus side, it does mean he survives the Mooglpocalypse, even if he does so from within an inferior human shell. <_< I also lose access to Runic, which may be the true tragedy of the event.

5) I often play the game without access to Runic

6) I stopped trying to save Cid ages ago; Kutan just stares at him until he dies now.

7) I always forget the time for the clock in Zozo, and, instead of looking it up, just leave Edgar without a Chainsaw.

I'm not a huge fan of Locke or Celes
I rarely use the Figaro Bros anymore in playthrough unless I have to.

I never save Cid, and it is because I want it.

I completely sucked at this game when I first played it. I didn't beat my original file and started all over before I could beat it. Then I used Game Genie a bunch to plow through the game to get petty revenge. Still, it's been well over a decade since I have done that.

I still haven't played the Advance version of this game.

I also sucked at it the first time I played it, although I never used a Game Genie or anything. In my defence, it was only my second RPG, and the first one I had played in a decade.

Another one that just occurred to me . . .

I totally did the Lete River trick for a level 99 party when I was younger. <_< ;

I never got past the part where you do the blitz move.

Oh god yes. Me and my friends who played this game, we all got at least one Game Over there because we couldn't figure out what the hell to do.

I was personally rather underwhelmed by the opera scene. It didn't really feel special to me and remembering the lines was a little annoying.

I've never done anything other than finish the main story.

I've also never played it on a SNES. I've emulated it on my PSP, my tablet, my PC.. Anything but a SNES really.

I survive using potions and phoenix downs the majority of the time. I also can't get far unless I use a guide. ;)

My confession would be that I never really played this game at all and I am not even sure why not. I will get to it sometime for sure though.

Even though I own the game (on PlayStation) I have never completed it, but instead completed an hacked rom, which made everyone more powerful, and have pretty much everything.

My latest playthrough (which I need to get back to) is a fanversion based on a TV show... (and I love it!)

I've played this game more than any other video game, period.

I've never done a challenge for this game.
I've never solo Magic God Kefka even though I know how.
I've actually been killed by Magic God Kefka before not counting a first playthrough. I learned the hard way that if you toy with him, he does know Ultima...
I've never chosen the Golden Hairpin over Mog
I've gotten a Game Over before for screwing up the Opera too many times.
I purposely kill Cid off and have only saved him once just to see what would happen.
I have never collected all of Gau's Rages, I tried once and have refused to do it ever since.

All of these. A lot on that Opera actually.

And never doing a game challange is hardly a confession, that's me and pretty much every game. Except a rare fluke when I'm bored I'll attempt one. All but once I abandoned it.

I've never chosen the Golden Hairpin over Mog

I've done it once, cause I swore it wouldn't let me lose Mog, but it did. So I reset the game to do-over. :p

I claim it as my favorite FF, but really it's my second favorite.
