"To the tune of" when talking about money.

Saying "I beg your pardon!" or "I don't like the cut of your jib!" when flabbergasted by the slander someone is laying upon you.

I think I invented the word 'beastian' to describe something being good. No one else has ever used it as far as I know :greenie:

My grandma says, "oh for land's sakes!" when she's surprised or cannot believe something. I would like to bring this to the current trend of slang.

My grandmother used to say , "No more of your hootnanny!"

I imagine I will be using the word "hootnanny" later on in life.
