Magic, Swords, and Balance

How did you set-up your party job class wise? did you favor melee over magic or vice versa, perhaps you stuck to balance? What was your team build like?

Generally it was two magic focused classes and two melee, unless required otherwise by game events, such as the Garuda fight or areas where I was 'mini'd. It worked out well when I got the last two classes, as two ninjas and two sages were perfect for breezing through the final dungeon.

Melee favored general. I just happen to like swords.

I usually have a good balance. I do prefer melee, though. I just like to hit things to solve my problems...in games.
