Luso ~ Engaging Character or Fix-It Hero

I've always felt that Luso's personality and story are the direct result of the backlash Marche received which is why I chuckled when the sequel features a happy-go-lucky hero who loves being dropped into a fantasy world and just goes on wacky adventures without much drama propelling him to leave home. Thoughts?

He's a fun, adventurous character. I like the development he gets, I just wish that (as with all of FFTA2's story) we got more of it.
