Surprised no one has mentioned Seymour - lots of counter and table space with room for tons of food.

Quina is another obvious choice - great food and I hear s/he lets you go up to the knuckle after dessert.

I think the best conversation would be with FF8 Cid though - academic but relaxed and friendly chatter, I have a feeling he would be able to discuss things such as wine and food without an air of pretentiousness.
