Let the sunshine in

Do you like to open your curtains wide and let the sun in?

I usually do! Unfortunately it's so hot I've been keeping the blinds down to keep the sun out recently xD

I used to be a cave-dweller, but in the last few years I let as much light in as possible. I love my skylight!

I LOVE opening up my blinds and curtains but then.... I can see - all. the. dust. that has accumulated since I've started my summer semester in school.

So, I prefer to cave-dwell as well so I don't become consumed with dusting my entire house.

I have curtains that provide a happy medium. They cover the sunlight very well, but also let light in the room when they are closed. My friends are annoyed with them after a night of drinking, but I like them.

Natural light is wonderful. The sun can sometimes be too bright, but luckily our room does not get too much direct sunlight.

I always have the curtains open during the day, except when it's mega hot - then I'll keep the bedroom curtains closed to keep the room cooler. I like the day light. :jess:

I don't actually have curtains, I just have blinds. I also have two giant windows in my bedroom which makes things really awkward when I'm trying to sleep (for those who don't know, I go to bed at 7pm due to my work schedule.)
