I try to get around six hours per day to stay functioning but occasionally I find something interesting to do at night and end up only getting three or four and continually bitch all morning. :p

Depends on the night. I try to, but some nights I just can't get to bed when I'd like to and other nights I struggle to stay asleep. I slept terribly last night.

Oh yes, sleep is one of my favorite things and getting enough sleep is a priority for me. It's a rare night that I don't get at least seven hours of sleep.

I usually don't feel like I do.

I usually have a couple of nights where I'll get around 5 hours then I'll be shattered on the 3rd day and sleep for around 8-9 hours. This pattern will then repeat.

It always takes me ages to get to sleep. When I'm gone though I'm dead to the world.

I lay in bed for hours sometimes before falling asleep. I'm totally a night owl, and next job I get will not be an early morning first shift (like 4-5 am some days :eep:). Those nights I may have napped for an hour or so.

I try. Usually I get about 6 hours a night, and I top it up on my days off with lie-ins. Sleeping is literally the greatest thing in the world.

I get 7-8 hours. So, it's all good. I just like to sleep more than that. xD

On a normal night, 4ish hours, on a good night, 5ish hours, on a bad night, 3ish hours.

I'm tired :(

No matter how much sleep I get, I'm always tired - thanks to my b12 and vit D deficiencies. :( It doesn't help that I'm a poor sleeper - it takes me ages to get off to sleep & then I wake several times throughout the night. I'm hoping sometime my body will get used to having only 4-5 hours a night. I miss feeling energetic. It never happens now!

Probably not. I'm doing better now, but I just stay up so late sometimes that I'm still not getting good sleep on the days I can sleep in more. I'm doing much better than the 2 hours a night I was averaging during my final semester of college though! It doesn't help that my dog likes to wake me up early in the morning on the days I get to sleep the latest, haha.

Almost always. Secret to happy life? Work it so you don't need to use an alarm to be awake on time.

Never. Maybe on a weekend, but during the week I might get 5-6. 6 only if I'm lucky.

Sometimes, but I get tired during work next day anyway.

When I was on first shift I got terrible sleep all the time. I HAD to use a 5 Hour Energy drink to stay up with my buddies on Friday nights or else I would pass out way too early.

Now that I am on third shift, I get plenty of sleep. Downside is that I sometimes have a little less time to myself before I have to return to work, but going to bed and naturally waking up is something I never thought I would be able to do again as a working adult. It's totally worth any downside of third shift.

I actually have to be really careful with how much sleep I get. Not only does sleeping too little make me sick, but sleeping too MUCH makes me sick as well. I always set an alarm, even on my days off, because oversleeping just kills me and gives me a migraine.

I hibernate for at least 12 hours a day since winter is coming. I barely sleep during feasting season in Spring.

Never, I work night shift and have a daughter. So I sleep about 4 hours when I work the day before. ):
