Yes, yes you do.
Just remember that bosses are immune to it, as are any enemies who happen to be 20+ levels higher than you (as though any of those exist by the time you get this ability).
You also get all the ultimate battle rewards. One turn kill? Check. No damage kill? Check. All enemies killed at once? Check. Unless you get pre-empted (in which case, shame on you for not using Alarm Earrings), you will get all of those every fight.

SO AMAZING. I mean I was already level 99 with several jobs mastered when I got it, but this is making mastering every job for every character a breeze.

You can pretty much only obtain the ability at the point where it won't do you anymore good except grinding to finish jobs. The game already lets you turn off random encounters, so it doesn't really change anything, except to make grinding way easier. It's a dream task for that (or for people who forgot about adjusting encounter rate), and is very welcome. More RPGs need to go "you know, you came this far, let's make grinding fifty times easier".

I mean, this game's been set up since day 1 to encourage grinding (which I love), what with the 4x battle speed and variable encounter rate and Crescent Moon...

It was a godsend when I was trying to max out the jobs in end game. I got to level 99 grinding at the start of Chapter 5, but I had maxed out all the jobs by around chapter 6 or 7. It was nice to not have to do 10 more hours of grinding to get everything maxed.
