Speeding through

I take forever and a day to complete RPGs and I have a list I need to play within the next few months, see this blog post, (http://home.eyesonff.com/entry.php/5651-Games-I-need-to-play) so for those of you who are good at speeding through them, what do you recommend? Any tricks that allow you to do it without sitting in front of the TV all day since I can't really do that anymore (stupid cleaning)?

On the other hand, are you like much and take forever? How long does it take you to complete these types of games? For me it takes probably about 2 months for the average game.

Using a guide speeds up things. There's plenty of spoiler free ones on the net that will help you breeze through the game and not spoil your fun with plot details :3:
