I agree w/ shion, it should be Reina/Lenna. I felt that early on that's the direction they were going before, like anything else character/emotionally based, they just kind of dropped it.

Then I remembered he had the girl back in his hometown, Lix, who was "waiting" for him, so she'd be another option.
