Is the first FF you played your favorite?

You often hear this with some fans but I'm curious to see how often this is actually true, is the first FF you ever played your favorite?

It used to be, but recently it's been replaced by X. VII, my first, has dropped down to #2 on my favorites list.

Actually I hate my first FF.

My first was VIII and I still feel like it's absolutely terrible game in both story and system.

VII was my first but it sits third or fourth in my list of favourites.

Yes, depending on which way you look at it. FFI was my first (for almost 10 years), and is my "favorite" when nostalgia is factored in. When I let myself be more objective, VII is the best, and it's the second one I played.

Nope and it was FFIX. It had just come out. I was going to get FFVIII but glad I didn't as that would have taken me off the series entirely.

Can't say it is. However the first Final Fantasy I finished​ is.

In spite of being really easy & a great game, FFVIII isn't really a good game for the first time FF player. The system involves too much strategy for a noob.

As for me, my first FF (numero I) isn't my favorite. It hasn't held that title since I played any of the sequels.

My first FF was Mystic Quest. I doubt that's anyone's favorite :eep:

My first numbered FF was IV and even though it's probably the one I replayed most due to all of the ports and the fact that it's really quick to beat, it's not my favorite. That title goes to both XII and VI.

My first was FF Tactics, and it's one of my favorites alongside 12. My first 'true' FF was 7....didn't age all that well in my book, though there are certain aspects of it I still enjoy.

My first Final Fantasy is VII. It's not my favorite, that title belongs to X, but it's the one I can play over and over again and never get tired of it.

FFIX was my first. It is my favourite. Tactics advance is also pretty rad.

The first FF I played was FF7, and it is still my favorite numbered FF. Tactics is the only one I like better.

The first FF I owned was the original on the NES, and, while I do love it so, it is not my favorite -- that goes to FFVI.
