Have you ever played the FF games in order?

We were mentioning playing the classic games in order in one of Jody's thread, and it left me wondering if anyone has ever done this; play Final Fantasy from oldest to newest? Did that include spin-offs and direct sequels? Would you? I think it'd make for a great challenge.

I never played them in order from I - XIV, but I did play them in order from what I could get. I started with VII and then went: VIII, IX, X, X-2, XI, XII, and XIII. I think I played CC for the GameCube before or after X-2. Can't remember when I played DoC. I played V and VI, and I and II, but that's as far as I ever went in order.

I've come close, a long long time ago in the mythic age known as the 90s, I would playthrough all the games in order before a new release, then they finally started to seriously release everything and I found I was only playing FF so I haven't done it in a while.

From where I started in the series, yes, if you don't count MMOs, anyway.

I began with FFX, then played FFXII and then FFXIII. It was after XIII that I looped back, and played FFVII. I've started VI, now.
