I have to object. The DS remix of the Crystal Tower, for example, truly enriches and improves upon the (already great) original. I would say the same of Eureka's theme, as well as the World of Darkness'.

The NES version of this was so bad I had to mute the game. I don't think I can blame the hardware because I don't recall mario or Duck Hunt hurting my ears with those extraordinarily high pitch bleeps and beeps. I was actually able to listen to the music in the DS version. Though all I heard was just the boss battle theme from the DS version. I'll eventually get around to listening to them all.
