Fantasy Premier League - a Fantasy Football Game for the Barclays Premier League (http://fantasy.premierleague.com/)

For those who haven't played before, to create a team you'll need to first create an account and fit 15 players in with a budget of 100M. The aim is to score as many points as you can through goals, assists, etc. That's pretty much it. But please remain to stay active if you do join! :)

Any randomers who are not members will be thrown out of the league when league starts. Just post your name (if it's different to your EoFF name you will have to state) & team name in the thread. Have your submissions in for 15th of August, 11:30AM to start on the first gameweek.

Well I decided to make a thread to raise more awareness of it in EoFF. If it fails miserably, I'll go back to putting it in the football thread. Seen some great screen names so far. Favourite is 'Murder on Zidane's floor'.

List updated! Post your teams if you wish. I'm having such a hard time of whether to put in Diego Costa. He could be the next Drogba or Torres :/ .. I think Lovren and Vertognan will have big scores come the end of the season if they stay injury free.

Yeah I was on the fence about Costa, Abrmamovich still has much man love for Torres, same regarding Mourinho and Drogba, so I can't see him starting every game. Of course I could be wrong and he'll bang in 30+ goals, but for my team I'm sticking with players who all have at least one season of Premier League experience.

Very happy with my gameweek score of 78.

Good points: Sterling, Siggy, and Fab doing well. I expected Sterling to do well with Suarez gone playing in behind Sturridge.

Bad points: Davies and Cameron didn't play!

Was an okay start. Will give my players a few games while I get a feel for form. This second week will see some awkward picks, but that's probably going to be a regular thing with this league looking so likely to be fought hard by so many teams.
