Do you have a gaming playlist?

The last few days I've been playing this, I've been using a playlist of background tuuuuunes. I actually prefer this, because I find some of the music in the actual game can be repetitive. I turn down the SFX stuff just a bit too.

What kind of music do you playlist when on ARR?

Or for Hunts/Atmas, I just open Spotify, search for a track I like and then start radio based on that track.

Or, I have Netflix on on the other monitor xD

So far I've been sticking with the in game music.

So, I have songs by/from Little Dragon, Mos Def, Gorillaz, Distant Worlds, The Django soundtrack, the Journey Soundtrack, The Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake soundtrack, Sonic Adventure 2 soundtrack, Prince, Asaki, Tales of Legendia, Trigun, Egyptian indie music (seriously), and the Vagrant Story soundtrack. I just make sure I'm keeping things diverse.

Just whatever album I'm currently thrashing. At the moment it's the Amenuensis by Monuments.

I remember when I started replaying World of Warcraft I played Stone Sour's self titled album the WHOLE TIME. To this day that game and that album are synonymous for me. I can't think of one without thinking of the other.

Lately I've been opening up Kabbage1977's Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCT7FufdSJsy-B2RMbbAbXIA) and whacking on a 2 or 4 hour mix while I farm hunts and/or atmas. Bangin' trance music at its finest. Anything other than hunts and it's usually the in-game music though.

Mount music is ALWAYS off. Screw that song.

I do believe I would say I am Hooked. Hooked on a feeling! lol

Not really. I don't have a particular playlist that i only listen to when I play games.

Danielle and I have various random playlists we use (or just custom playlists made at the spur of the moment via our Winamp library or Spotify). But we also have a Final Fantasy playlist that has all kinds of FF music.

FFXII soundtrack has for me, without doubt, the best music for FFXIV possible. Seriously good. If you can, play the FFXII OST while playing FFXIV and you'll find it just works. Try it out if you can!
