Hello there! Welcome to a brand new showcase of the week! It is now the middle of August, and we're just halfway through the month, and just a tad closer to the upcoming Fall/Autumn season. You may have noticed that the temperatures are falling ever so slightly (or rising, depending on your location), so I figure let's share some amazing artwork for this week's showcase. Terra on piano
I have to say that this is a really amazing piece of artwork. Who would've thought that Terra would be a piano player? Not I, but I'm sure she's great. I really like pretty much everything about this art, great work on the perspective with the piano. Surely, there could be more detail on the piano and bookshelf, but keeping Terra more detailed is proving that she's the main focus.

Wow! This was done using watercolors, ink, and acrylic paints? It's very impressive. I love the colors and details put into this. Even the background looks great!

Warning! Don't make the same mistake I did with this. At first, I thought this was a fan art of Rydia from FFIV, but I was immediately corrected that this is actually Terra from FFVI. I know Rydia doesn't wear red, but I saw the green hair and thought Rydia. Either way, I like this piece, and I hope you will too!

THE SIMPSONS TRIBUTE
We should be quite aware that a good majority of us are fans of The Simpsons despite the fact that the show is waning in quality in recent years. However, here's a tribute fan art that has the Simpsons family fighting against Mr. Burns in Final Fantasy VI fashion! Mr. Burns is obviously the main villain, as you can see with his portrayal as the mad clown Kefka. A rather epic tribute to both The Simpsons and Final Fantasy VI!
