Do You Name Your Vehicles?

I never used to until sharky made me. My car is named Panda. His racecar didn't have a name so I came up with the name Raoul to be silly and it stuck!

I have owned plenty of cars and trucks but, I have never named one. I don't even name my fish.

I dont name them, but I do refer to them using human pronouns instead of "it"

I did with my first and second car. I don't really call them by name all that often though. I don't want to feel bad when I abuse it.

Similarly my girlfriend's licence (or registration plate as we say over here) ends in MAB, so it's Mabel. Doesn't suit a sky blue Peugeot 206.

As for me I get around on a bicycle, which has no name other than when it breaks down. Then it has many... not so nice names.

I've got a lot of things I would call my car. Then Regular Car Reviews reviewed it. Now I can call it all kinds of new names.

None of them are nice. Or even polite.

Ruby the Subee. My first car was called Mississippi Barebones. Cause I'm weird.

My Focus, I nicknamed Bumblebee after Transformers came out.. My daughter realized it was yellow and black like "Bumblebee Boy", so we started calling it that.

Otherwise, no. We always named my dad's trucks. There was Big Red, then Yoshiko, and Big Red II.. After they got their ICT sleeper and had the last cab put on it, I started calling it Optimus Prime- it was a slightly different model Peterbilt than the actual Optimus in Transformers. Dad's was a 359 and Optimus was 379.
