I have some weird affinity for Sabin. I really can't say why, other than the first time I was introduced to this game, my buddy was playing it in a style where he named all the characters after his friends, and the day I visited he met Sabin, and he got my name. And forever after I have enjoyed him. He's awesome

Responsibility? Edgar I would think. He became King to protect his father's kingdom, while Sabin just wanted freedom. Which can be seen as selfish. I do believe Edgar is more reliable.

Sabin. I think Sabin is more genuine. Edgar keeps things close to his chest, uses philandering to cover his real feelings, and in the end doesn't have a real personality. Although. Although, and this is big. Although, he has a freaking subterramarine castle.

I have to give it to Sabin, though, for suplexing trains and swimming with Ultros.

Sabin and Ultros should have a talk show together.
