I like Full House. Yup. Used to watch it all the time on Family Great before it became The Spot. Nowadays I catch it on cable occasionally when I'm over at a relative's house. Stephanie was my favorite character. I liked Michelle, too, when she was little. I felt Joey and Jesse worked best when they had each other to play off of as well. And the catchphrases, my god the catchphrases,

"Have mercy!"
"Cut. It. Out."
"How rude!"
"Well, pin a rose on your nose."
"You got it, dude!"
"Yes I did."
"You're in big trouble, mister!"
"Shame on you!"
"Double shame!" Ugh, the twins. Not Mary Kate and Ashley, Jesse and Becca's twins.

Who else watched it?

Watched it every week. That house they lived in is probably worth millions these days.

I used to watch this show along with several other sitcoms at the time every day back in the day. I just love how Bob Saget is completely the opposite of his Danny Tanner character. Danny is such a clean-cut single father trying to raise his daughters in an honest way whereas Bob does raunchy stand-up comedy full of swearing. It's hilarious.

Used to watch it quite often. Mostly in pursuit of dreamily gazing at Uncle Jesse.

Hated this show and was forced to watch it with family.

Though my favorite anecdote from Bob Sagat was when he and John Stamos were walking down a street just catching up, after not seeing each other for awhile, and they witnessed a car accident. The two rushed to one of the crashed cars where a lady was found unconscious, they banged on the window to see if she was okay and when she came too, she took one look at the two of them and apparently said "Oh god I'm dead and in hell." :D

The house was real?

I want to live there.

Uhm you could most definitely swear on TV back then. Have you never watched Roseanne? They said bitch, damn, Hell, etc pretty frequently.

I liked Full House. When I was younger. Now, it's just too wholesome for me and not nearly as funny as I remember it being.

The houses they filmed from the outside are known as "The Painted Ladies" and they are a row of houses in San Francisco. But the inside was a set.

I watched the series when it first ran, but it's almost unbearably bad now. Especially Uncle Joey. I can't believe Alanis Morissette went for him.

Roseanne might have but I know it wasn't as common back then as it is now.

While we're on the subject of Full House, I have to share this:

Loved it when I was a kid. Probably the worst sitcom of all time, though.

This website is goddamn perfect, though. (http://www.fullhousereviewed.com/)

I still watch it every now and then on Nick. I always thought Stephanie was funny. Too bad she eventually got overshadowed by Michelle.

Maybe not as common, but still definitely allowed. The same swear filters applied back then as they do today- maybe some tweaks here and there, but yeah. That was my point.

Yeah, that sucked. It was pretty obvious in the earlier seasons she was meant to be the cute one. The folly of being the middle child.

I loved it when it when I very young, and just found it very entertaining even though most jokes and lessons etc went over my head at the time. Today it gives me nightmares though.

I liked it as a kid. That whole "olsen twins!" thing and fervor. The show itself was okay though....

It's a mind trip to watch this now. I hated how they would always change their plans or do anything based on Michelle's whims. Everything was about Michelle.

There's an article on the front page of CNN right now that says they're working on rebooting Full House. No joke (http://www.tvguide.com/News/Full-House-Revival-1086245.aspx).

Should be interesting to see if it really happens, and if they can get the original actors on board, seeing as Jodie Sweetin turned into a coke mule, the Olsons got butthurt at their box office failings and swore off acting, and the Camerons turned into religious fundies who think television is satanic.

Probably the worst sitcom of all time, though.
Nah, that title belongs to Small Wonder (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48WCJ84z7vw).

Yes! Yes! My evil plan is working. *rubs hands together and laughs maniacally*

Edit: Jodie got off the drugs.
