Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on March 17, 2015 in North America and March 20 in Europe, according to a pulled Game Informer report.

A voucher code for Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae -- a playable demo of FFXV -- will be included in each copy of Type-0. According to the report, Episode Duscae will allow players to "see some of the opening scenes in action," although "some elements of the progression will be altered in order to make it more suitable for a demo experience."

IGN admired Final Fantasy Type-0 -- which was revealed for PS4 and Xbox One at E3 2014 -- earlier this year for its action elements and dark, mature tone.

LET THE HYPE BEGIN.

20th March!

Ahhhhhhhh!

I've just gone and pre-ordered. Seriously can't wait! And a XV demo to boot?! Amazing.

I'm still sad that it isn't being released in NA for PSP, as I actually own one of those.

Yeah, or Vita. Or PS3 for that matter.

I own a PS4 that's collecting dust, so I'm pretty excited. :p

For those wondering...

It's getting a PS4 release in order to satiate console FF fans hunger for FF titles since XV is still a little ways off and to test the waters for XV's release. The other reason is that the game's director Tabata has been co-directing XV and apparently more knowledgeable about the PS4 schematics and thus it was a smoother transition due to this. Frankly, I'm just happy it's getting released over here finally. I only feel bad because the game will probably be like Brave Fencer Musashi, a good game only remembered as "that game that came with the FF demo". So far I think only DQVIII has escaped that trap.

Hah, I remember I was in college (Jesus has it been that long?) when DQVIII came out and I knew at least ten people who had zero interest in DQ games and ran out and bought it just for the FFXII demo. :p

Yeah, but it's easier to find people talking about DQVIII whereas you would be hard pressed to find someone who remembers Tobal No 1 or Brave Fencer Musashi. ;)

I remember Brave Fencer Musashi. It was one of the demos that came with my PlayStation Underground disc.
