Want a game with a good female character?

The developer of this game also made Rex Rocket (http://castlepixel.com/rexrocket/), which is an AWESOME game. Graphics, music, humor, challenge, exploration, everything was spot-on. I have high hopes that Blossom Tales will be similarly awesome, and looking at it, I can't imagine it won't.

The pixel art is so good I want to print it out and put it on some bread and eat it like a sandwich. "Aren't you getting sick of retro top-down Zelda-like action RPGs", you ask? To that I say I will never! And it looks like the main character is a girl; I might not kickstart it only for that alone if the game looked like crap otherwise, but it doesn't look like crap. It looks like the opposite of crap.

Please spread the word and give some money if you can spare it. Personally I'd like to see this succeed.

Without knowing more of the story, that's a very distinct possibility. Sadly, I immediately presumed it was because though they want a woman main character, they didn't necessarily want it to look like a woman. Just to say they had a woman. Like Metroid. But maybe it's sexist of me to want my female characters to look like females. I don't think it's really a big turnoff though. But I can't help but have my preference and it does make me a little sad if it stays that way
