Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy springs to mind.

What do you guys think?

Freaking love Patrick Stump, and it always made me sad how much hate he got out of nowhere and seemingly for no reason. His voice is audible gold and I love how much soul influence goes into his sound. I can't think of anyone else whose voice sounds even remotely like his own, though Brendon Urie from Panic! at the Disco pulls off soul pretty well in his own respect.

Brendon is who I would name next, probably! Also, Ingrid Michaelson and Feist.

Any backup singer from "20 Feet From Stardom".

Patrick Stump is great, but definitely not Fall Out Boy. He's better on his own.

I think Kesha is largely underrated. But that's because she mostly "raps" & is more on the showboat level like Lady Gags.

Chick can actually sing for real. I heard her do it on her reality show she had on MTV.

Are you sure about that...http://youtu.be/GVjy2zyQ7Oo

She sounds like a cross between Cher and a dying animal.

Yeah, sorry I don't hear it. Her voice is still pretty subpar though definitely better sans autotune. There's definitely something Cher-ish in her voice that sounds like an alarm meets a horn particularly when she sings the line, "die young". I can't really describe it any better than that, but it's not good. She isn't a terrible singer and I think that with musical training it would smooth out her voice and help her with her breathing in between every line.

Best guy voice I can think of off the top of my head that's underrated just because many people don't know about him: http://youtu.be/W7WJwR7YHCs

To each their own- but I think that in regards to actual singing, she -can- do it.

Sia. Not just as a singer but as a songwriter too, she's done a lot or awesome pop hits for other artists but her own stuff is amazing too.

The same singer being responsible for the voice in both of these songs is incredible. Such range. Light to dark.

Yeah she's created some hits for people like Rihanna and Beyonce. She probably would've have sang "Diamonds" better than Rihanna.

I love Kyo but he's not necessarily underrated, well at least not in the rock/metal realm. I've seen quite a few American metal bands lauding his voice and versatility. I think Dir en grey as a whole are underrated, but then I listened two their last few albums and they're just not holding up.

This guy is pretty well known as a metal singer so he's not exactly underrated in that scene, but in terms of general life he is definitely not well known enough. The end of this song is purely amazing vocal technique.

Anthony Kiedis. I love his voice so much

The band itself gets lots of recognition but if you say Anthony Kiedis everyone is like "wut"
