Reddit user Teodor_Van_Bo uploaded his photographs from the first ever Russian Comic Con in this thread here (http://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/2iab7w/heres_some_pics_from_first_russian_comic_con/) (check it out, some pretty dazzling cosplay can be found!) My favourite though has to be this Sephiroth cosplay, which I'm sure we can all agree is probably the most true to game representation. Just stunning!

If you are this cosplayer, or know who it is, please let us know!

It's definitely a fresh take on the popular villain of Final Fantasy VII. I can't say I envy whoever is hiding inside that costume though - it must be pretty sweaty in there!

This is truly history in the making, as the Moscow Crocus Centre held the first ever Russian Comic Con from October 2nd to October 5th. It's all over now, but much fun was had! Misha Collins of Supernatural fame was there signing autographs and chatting with fans, and sneak peaks from Star Wars were also shown. There was probably lots more to do and see for the guests who were just there for a day out, and for the cosplayers who had worked hard for months on their costumes!

Russia is of course not the first country other than the USA to host this event, it has been booming in popularity over the last few years, so much so that is has popped up in Dubai in 2012, in Bucharest last year and the Romanian festival had an attendance of 9,400 in its first year, blasting up to 22,000 this year. Wow!

What do you think of this Sephy cosplay? Best one ever? I think so!

Reminds me of a certain Cloud cosplay I saw a few years ago.

I like it. I'm surprised it took this long for someone to go that route.

Nice. I like it when people get a little creative with their cosplay.
