Thanks foas :3 let's see..... For sharp lines I use a physician's formula eyeliner pen, I used a nyx jumbo pencil in milk for a base for the white and a black kajal base for black areas and lips. For eyeshadows I used a pink and a white from sugarpill (both matte), and a black from nyx. I actually used a wine red lip liner for brows. Oh I used that black eyeshadow as a contour too, but with a very light hand and blended it out with my regular face powder.


Next week I might go zombie because why the fuck not? Other than maybe I'll be lazy and not feel like doing all of that......

I may not be that great at portrait photography but action photography? That's my bees knees. I used to get awards for it in highschool (ugh so long ago) It was so bright out there from the snow that I had to turn my iso waaaay down and it still showed the white and black really sharply. So first of all, ignore the unmade bed in the background :p

Secondly, this is my first picture taken of more than just my face for quite some time now. A while ago I've put on some weight and have been really struggling with my body image which, added up to the plethora of other issues I've accumulated over the last year (and beaten this year), made me feel even more depressed about myself. Taking this picture is kind of an attempt to come to terms with my body, and see that it really doesn't look as bad as I think it does. Wearing my favorite shirt here. I like it cause it actually fits my body well, because most of my clothes are kind of baggy to disguise the fact that I don't feel good in my body.

Just to be clear, I know logically that I'm am not fat. I'm not overweight, although I'm in the upper areas of a normal weight, it's just that I don't feel good about how flabby I am. I've been running and going to the gym for a long time now, and though sometimes I do see results, my head just twists all this into something rotten.

Bah, enough ranting. Be back with my silly mood next time ;)

Rocking some black hair. Never died it black before. I've had like, really, really dark brown for a few days after I've died it chocolate, but never black. I was never allowed - my mum said I'd look like a goth :lol: I love it though, love love love it. It feels super soft and looks shiny. Really quite annoyed though as it has washed out a bit so now it's like black with brown highlights. I'm sure another go with dying it will clear that up. It's kind of hard to tell in this pic 'cuz my hair is wet from the beach still, but I've decided to let my hair dread up some during the Summer.

The salty air out here has really dried my hair out with the warm weather and it gets tangled up again even when I do comb it out. I'm basically wasting money on conditioner trying to keep it feeling soft and stuff.. Plus my head gets sweaty really easily, so there's just no point. I give up.

I'm still washing it, of course, and I'm back to shampooing it every other day or every 2 days.. I'm just not brushing it. And I only wash my scalp. It's looking pretty cool so far! It's only been a few days ,though hehe. I'll comb it back out once it starts cooling off and stuff. :D

So, Mr. Carny arrived back in England yesterday after a 24~ hour flight from Tokyo to Heathrow. Suffice to say he was pretty tired, and needed a really good sleep when he got back. I've planned a nice few days back for him: a dinner at a swanky restaurant, watching a theatre production of Much Ado About Nothing, and watching T.V and video games. It'll be good.

I've also booked out two nights at the local high-end budget chain hotel, because King Size beds and air conditioning and privacy rule. Also, all-you-can-eat breakfast in the morning.

Last year when Pheesh and I were in Melbourne we stayed at this lovely hotel that had little apartments. Anyway, Pheesh had gone out one afternoon for a drum workshop, and I had an infected knee from a bug bite ('straya!) So I wasn't up for going out so I just sat on the balcony wrapped up in a blanket people watching and it was just so nice man. The hotel is right in the centre of Chinatown too so it was really vibrant and lively all afternoon.

You guys must have stayed in some nice hotels, then. My only experience with hotel beds is pain and impractical bedframes. Why would you put a board on the edge of the bed if the bed is too short to fit a person of six feet?

Its a a lovely room though, we have a sofa that is so soft, and a nice flatscreen T.V to watch stuff on. We had the all-you can eat breakfast this morning: I've forgotten how much I loved hash browns. Sam hasn't had a English breakfast in such a long time.

and Fynn, this is a Premier Inn. It is high-end budget. Which for a poor person like me is like a four star hotel.
