Is friggin awesome (and sad) and doesn't get enough credit

The guy had 0 HP and kept going. He got hit with Flare, Holy, and Meteor in one turn and KEPT GOING

People don't appreciate that scene enough. Appreciate it with me

I think that it lacked to proper music. IMO that is what makes Aries & Celes's suicide attempt so much more powerful than Gaulf or General Leo.

It is one of his best scenes and I do mourn his death since he was my other favorite character in the game along with Faris. It's a nice contrast to Tellah's duel with Golbez where Tellah was the one dishing out high spells to no avail.

It got a lot of credit, shion, you're just a bit late to the game :p

Yeah, he was my favourite character in the game. I think he gets a lot of credit, but the game sadly does not get the credit it deserves, so the character moments suffer in 'fame' for that reason.

I don't think it gets enough credit. Heck I always forget about it and I've played the game 3 times now. Everyone always mentions Aeris or... everyone from IV, let's be honest, but very rarely do I hear about his death scene other than 'he dies'.

I FORGOT HOW AWESOMENESS IT WAZ

Hey. Unmarked spoilers. I know the game's 22 years old and all, but lots of people here still haven't played it.

Can...can I spoiler a title?

If my memory serves me well, the general rule of thumb is that after something like three years, spoilers are pretty much fair game (and that's why I like separate forums for separate games, so I can avoid forums for games that I haven't completed). Can't mark spoilers in titles, though, no.

Just edit the title so it doesn't contain a spoiler anymore then. Anyone who finished the game will be able to figure out from context what it refers to. And since it shows up in New Posts, saying people should just stay out of the forum doesn't really work for me.

It's a 22 year old game, just going to its Wikipedia page will spoil it for newbies so I don't see the harm.

I...don't think I knew this? And I've seen the movie. Shows how much attention I paid.

It has definitely become an underrated scene, for sure.
