Do you have arachnophobia?

As with most bugs, if they don't bother me, I won't bother them, and if they're radioactive they can bite me.

Spiders are cool with their legs and their creeping around.

I don't mind spiders but I don't want them on me.

Don't really care. If I see a big huge one running around the house I'll catch it and chuck it out a window but otherwise I ignore them or sic the cat on them.

Depends on their size really. Little ones I can tolerate, but any spider bigger than two inches, or hairy... no thanks.

If you asked me this question last year I would have said ARRRGGGGGHHHH I HATE SPIDERS AND I'M SCARED OF THEM!!!

But lately I've not been so bad with them. If it's a big one it will still freak me out a little if it catches me off guard, but if I see it first and it's not moving then I can quite confidently go and kill it now. Then chuck it in the bin.

Full-blown Arachnaphobic over here. Yuck, spiders are gross

Don't care too much

The bugs I hate are worms and earwigs :stare: Gosh I hate those things

I am pretty cool with spiders usually. They kill the much more annoying buggers.

I only hate them on me (the small ones, I don't mind that much having those big ones on my hand, since those are fluffy and almost feel like pets) and I don't enjoy those really fast spiders that come rushing at me or run around me a lot, these I catch and throw outside.

They are the spawn of Satan.

I am pretty fascinated by spiders. Yes, they look like pure evil when they're scuttling across your living room floor but they are still interesting and highly useful creatures.

I remember once when I was absolutely hammered in my early 20's, I was chatting to a spider outside my Dad's flat for about 15 minutes. He was nice. His name was Clive and he worked as a fly catcher. It's quite a common trade among the arachnid family, so he says.

I don't mind them as long as they stay where I can see them and don't go taking any liberties.

Liberties include;

Crawling onto me when it's dark
Creeping around near me when it's dark
Dangling down behind me on their web
Dangling in front of me on their web in a small space
Going near my food/drink

Sounds like that particular spider Owened owned.

Spiders eat flies and flies are like 5000 times more annoying.

I actually wish I had more spiders in my house, and that they made better webs.

Spiders are the most powerful and convincing proof that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" is sheer folly.

Come on you haters. Clearly all they want is a hug.

Spiders don't bother me, but the bites do hurt a bit. ^^;

Even if you don't like spiders, just watch. Trust me, you'll find it enlightening. Mention of drugs and other potentially inappropriate things. Probably NSFW.

If that's not safe for work, most people probably couldn't even open their mouths at work without being fired.

Spiders are only great when they're killing the ants that infest my room during the summer time. Since I blocked a hole in my closet, the ants have disappeared and/or they were all killed by the spiders. Also smurf you to the two spider who decided to make a giant web on my front door and then kept doing it after we removed it time and time again. You are jerks. Also thanks for killing the moths that infested our front door.

Spiders don't bother me as long as they don't touch me or something. If they do, I will freak out.

This. I try to not kill things. I'll trap a bug and put it outside if it's bothering me. Unless it's like a mosquito or something.

I have done my best to not hate spiders. They make me uncomfortable but we try and leave each other alone.

Completely forgot about that time I was naked and a spider kept following me around my room. That was creepy as hell. I ran to my bed to hide in the covers and it followed me there too really fast! It jumped down to the bedpost and I was wtf. That pervert spider is no more.

Ugh, don't get me started on spiders. I could write an essay on the many negative qualities spiders possess.

I am petrified of spiders. I have a plug-in spider repeller and also spray around my windows and doors with spider repellent to keep them out.

I have a strange relationship with spiders. If I see one I will freak the shit out. I will like jump out the shower naked and run to another room to avoid that sneaky b*stard. They're so unpredictable and just yuck!

BUT! If one of my kids see one at work and start freaking out (I teach 3-5yr olds) I'm like "ohhh, it's ok, it's just a spider- it wont hurt you!" I wont touch it or anything, but i'll act all nonchalant as if it doesn't bother me! Craziness! I guess I don't want them to grow up scared like me!

I'm not a fan of picking them up or anything, but I'll do it. If it's especially big then I'll just get a glass and paper to take it outside.

The only thing that gets me is when I unexpectedly find one crawling on me, like I feel my skin itch first, then look down and there's just a huge hairy bugger crawling up my arm.

Also I never kill them, shame on you all!

Spiders are helpful creatures that help kill pests and other nasty things, but they look scary and nasty as fuck.

They are free to do their jobs, as longs as they stay away from my bedroom. Thankyou spiders. :ohdear:

Im usually startled when I see one but some of them can kill and I cant tell the difference between the dangerous ones and the non dangerous ones so I tend to just kill them on sight which I guess makes me a spider racist.

A good rule of thumb: if the spider isn't poisonous, he's probably plotting against you and your family anyway. So you might as well save everyone the trouble, fear, and heartache, and rid your home of the man-eating vermin! A good poison spray should do the trick along with a well-aimed Hadouken for good measure. Use your intelligence, take no chances, and good luck!

I live in Australia....the buggers are everywhere o______o

Little ones are okay, Daddy long legs don't scare me either but all other spiders instill a fear and loathing inside of me x__x Just the other day I saw a spider on the outside of the bathroom window, black, hairy and gigantic (the size of 1 hand span). I know it probably wouldn't hurt me but it didn't stop me from exhausting a whole can of repellent on it D:

I don't mind spiders, but you don't get anything bigger than about an inch and a half where I live. I like seeing them when I go to the zoo or pet store though. My girlfriend is terrified of them and checks her bed every night before she goes to sleep for 'em. :/
