What is your opinion on Kingdom Hearts?

I kind of fall between the first and second options. KH2 is one of my favorite games ever. KH1 is good, but difficult to replay for some reason. (Deep Jungle usually makes me lose interest.) Chain of Memories sucked. Birth By Sleep was great, maybe better than KH1. I do really want to play both Remixes though.

Yeah, I don't think I'd have quite the excited response of the first option, but the second option doesn't quite convey my enjoyment of the series enough.

Basically I really like them and they will be Day 1 purchases forever no matter how dumb the story gets.

I & II. Haven't played any of the others. Both were good (the gameplay in II was a lot better) but I wouldn't say that it's amazing. I'm not excited for III because I can't really remember the story and I feel I may have outgrown the series as a whole.

I liked 1 and 2 started strong and ended strong but the Disney Worlds were not enjoyable.

BBS was the only one I enjoyed the whole way through.

Now that I'm older, I don't seem to enjoy at least BBS or KH2 now. I realized that when I borrow 2.5 HD from my roommate. I made it like 2 hours into KH2 and one hour into BBS before I realized I couldn't stomach them anymore. KH2 is literally, once you get mobility options for Sora, "Press X And Sometimes Triangle: The Game."

BBS was too disjointed and repetitive for me to even play through a second time.

Never enjoyed Re:CODED or either of the Chain of Memories games. 358 was okay for like the first 5 hours. I played DDD for like an hour and said screw it. I wanna give that game a proper chance because it's the only one I haven't beaten or at least got a fair amount of the way into.

Not sure about how I would feel about the first game after all these years. But yeah, I don't really enjoy most KH games now.....

I like the idea of KH a great deal. I never liked the gameplay though, so I never played them much.

I've always really enjoyed KH, it's the reason I go the PS2 and started down the path I'm on now. So i really think it's a game that changed my life.

And considering KH2 barely made sense at all, let alone as a (seeming) follow up to the first one, I have a very low opinion of the series after the first game.

If I have to play what seemed like a handheld spinoff at the time for the game that is actually labeled Kingdom Hearts 2 to make the slightest bit of sense then someone dropped the ball big time.

Basically what he said. The story is smurfing ridiculous now, much like Bleach, and I think an arrant portion of the fanbase are waiting for the series to end... like Bleach.
