I'm pretty new to the whole reddit thing really. But I think everyone has one subreddit they visit a lot and love for whatever reason! (maybe a few more, I dunno I'm kind of a noob with it)

Mine isn't a subreddit - but I love this ask thread for paramedics/EMT (http://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/2a4x2y/paramedics_of_reddit_what_is_your_most_nsfw_story/)- there's some really horrifying, sad, scary stories in there but there's also some absolute belters as well! (there's a few others like it too that are worth a read if you love gross stuff like me!)

The subreddit for it is /RealEMS (http://www.reddit.com/r/RealEMS/)

I also like the reddits for dreaming and lucid dreaming in particular but I've only really just discovered those!

So, EoFF, what are your subreddits?

I don't go on reddit, and probably never will unless the admins stop tolerating threats of terrorism, creepshots, and other similar things in the name of "free speech".

I don't go to reddit. Not my scene, and between personal and business, I have enough social networking platforms to pay attention to.

You don't need an account Shorty to be able to read them, btw! I just use reddit as reading material when I'm bored or can't sleep, usually! :D

Yeah. No.

I really just don't like the way reddit is set up.

No thank you.

Oh, no, I have an account. I just can't be bothered to visit/check/keep up there!

I don't really post alot, though my account is 4 years old, but those are the subreddits I spend the most time lurking on.

I haven't gotten on in a while. I did look at a bunch of the more scary-focused ones last year with my roommate for fun. I can't remember what the ones we frequented were called though.

I was born for this thread.

/r/AnimalsBeingJerks/ (http://www.reddit.com/r/AnimalsBeingJerks/) - What it says on the tin. animals being jerks.

/r/ArtisanVideos/ (http://www.reddit.com/r/ArtisanVideos/) - It's all artsy bulltrout videos of people making things. Relaxing stuff though.

/r/montageparodies/ (http://www.reddit.com/r/montageparodies/) - This may be a bit more obscure, but it's videos that reflect bad montage videos. So right, I'm sure you've seen COD kill montage vidoes with kids screaming "Oh my god" when they get a 720 no scope playing dubstep over the top. This is applying the same logic to things like Pingu. Volume is always very loud so watch out.

/r/TsundereSharks/ (http://www.reddit.com/r/TsundereSharks/) - Baka, it's not like I want to look at shy sharks. Tsundere it a trope in anime for someone who acts hostile to a person, but actually has deep feelings for them. Apply this to sharks.

/r/wheredidthesodago/ (http://www.reddit.com/r/wheredidthesodago/) - You know bad informercal videos. These are gifs from these videos with out of context titles. The video is usually in the comments too if you want to see how awful the actual products are.

/r/yee/ (http://www.reddit.com/r/yee/) - This is a new one. Based on this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6EoRBvdVPQ), which is dervived from the worst animated movie that has ever existed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brLqiYj5lQw)

/r/youtubehaiku/ (http://www.reddit.com/r/youtubehaiku/) - It's short youtube videos. Supposedly <30 seconds at most. Good for about 10 minutes of "I want to chill for a bit[/url]

I used to follow /r/atheism before it was taken off default.

I never saw the appeal of participating in the Reddit "community" (I think my Reddit profile says I've been a member for four years and made like seven comments? lol) but there are a couple subreddits that I admit to swinging by when I'm looking for info, because Reddit is best when it's a link dump IMO.

r/frugal is the one I probably visit the most because they'll have links to stuff like "Hey this is how I saved $30 on my monthly phone bill" and it actually works.

r/ParadoxPlaza is another because I run a tumblr blog about funny pictures in grand strategy games and if none of my other go to sites are currently delivering then Reddit or Imgur will often have a couple.

There are a couple other really situational ones like r/HITsWorthTurkingFor when I'm doing mturk work (not often these days) but that's about it really.

/wheredidthesodago - gifs from infomercials of people dramatically failing simple tasks (http://i.imgur.com/3t1tT.gif)
/youdontsurf - fun with stock photos - this link NSFW (http://i.imgur.com/o1LiZD6.jpg)
/osha - pictures and videos of safety training and violations (http://i.imgur.com/9IHsJVy.jpg)

I also used to do TwoXChromosomes because I could post there about lady things without people getting pissed but then it became a default :(

I use it for DayZ Development info since the developers are crazy Czechs who can't figure out how a normal forum works. But, they're getting better with forums so I use it less and less.

The main ones are probably...

/r/finalfantasy - duh.
/r/ffxiv - Because FFXIV is my thang.
/r/comeonandslam - mashups of songs with the Space Jam theme tune.
/r/justneckbeardthings - comedic exaggeration of the "neckbeard" stereotype to distract me from that fact that I am probably 70% neckbeard. M'lady.
/r/twitchplayspokemon - because I love Twitch Plays Pokémon. (Praise Helix!)
/r/ doge - wow such subreddit
And various general gaming subs - /r/pcgaming /r/steam /r/3ds /r/wiiu etc.

r/finalfantasy isn't very welcoming for me. I feel bad for all the people taht are like "i has question!" and get downvoted. So I upvote their question even if i don't have an answer

I'm not really that active on that sub for me to know much about it... I just look at the articles and carry on lol. /r/ffxiv suffers from the same problem from time to time but it's a bit more welcoming I think.
