I love to dance. I'm actually a pretty cracking mover too.

I am a terrible, awful dancer and prefer to keep my dancing to a seated position with foot or hand tapping along to the music.

I don't mind dancing on my own because there are no rules and nobody tells me I am a bad dancer. Bugger instructions. The side to side clap thing? I can't do that. Instructions or 'rules', for me, makes no sense because it restricts how you can move to the music.

I'm not really very good at it, but I want to take a belly dancing class this year! :D

I moon walked onto the dance floor once, and shook my money maker so bad that dad escorted me off the dance floor. Actually, it was because he thought the dance floor was reserved for those involved with the wedding, but that's less funny.

When I was wee (I mean really young, like 3 or 4), I did ballet. I could have been the next Baryshnikov, but instead... well, you know how everyone says they're a terrible dancer?

I'm so bad at dancing that I make all those terrible dancers look like the next Baryshnikov. I am the Anti-Dance, Lord of Malcoordination, King of Enervation, The Antithesis of Movement and Antonym of Choreography.

by now sadly forgot everything but things stick

i spent a year or so on east-coast swing a few years back, still go base steps

my fave is of course weird body moves to dance music in clubs/dancehalls

I used to be a ballroom dancer. Cha cha, swing, waltz, tango, lindy hop. We also learned salsa, samba, paso doble, but I wasn't a fan of those particularly because I am bad at latin dancing. Right before I quit attending classes and competition, we were getting to learn a tiny bit of Charleston and that was super fun, but I didn't learn enough to remember D:

Tango and lindy hop are the most fun and my favorites, but cha cha and swing are easy and also super fun! :jess: But it has been many years since I've done any of these any of these, to my dismay.

I am generally a bad party dancer. I stay in the safe zone. Always wanted to learn jazz dance and ballet. Also, I am a serial kitchen dancer.

I want to do all the dancing that Shorty knows. Dancing is fun.

Dancing well, however, is difficult. I dunno what to do with my hands. I wouldn't dance at a club to save my life, unless I am drunkwasted. You know, bit of social anxiety and all that.


Also, I am a serial kitchen dancer.

I totes do this. I dance when I cook. I dance when I clean. I shake my booty like it owes me money.

I have danced one time in my life.

And that was because I went to TX with my ex for NYE (we visited his aunts, uncles, and cousins). We got super shitfaced and his uncles made me dance to freaking Duranguense with them.

Or what I like to call "Mexican Circus Music" (even though I like some of it now).

It was eexhausting and I suck.

I know you've mentioned that you're a good dancer before and can drop it like Beyonce, but I won't believe it till I see it. :colbert:

When I was younger I tapdanced and I was a ballerina. Tap-a-tap-a-tap-a... I don't like dancing much except when it's in the privacy of my own home, or in a dark setting with good music and booze.

I remember in Elementary School we had to dance during gym to Cotton Eyed Joe then we had to perform this dance at the talent show all dressed in jeans, a red t-shirt, and a red bandana. I have no idea why they thought that was a good idea.

I am arguably the best male dancer in the world.

Nobody in their right mind would argue that however, because I am an abominable dancer. I've gotten much better by doing lots of exercise, which I think is part having the strength to control my body better and part being more confident about my body and willing to show it off. xD

Still utterly abysmal, mind, just less self-conscious about it.
