What is the best thing about your favorite FF?

What is the one element of your favorite FF that you love the most? I know this is a difficult to narrow it down to one thing but just bear with me and see if you can do it. What makes your favorite FF stand out to you so that others may come closer to understanding where we are all coming from.

FFIX - Nostalgy in new coat.

FFIX: Characters. Amarant is kinda meh, but I don't dislike any of them and I like all of the others.

FFV - The main character's name is Butz. Not really, but kind of related. I like it the best because it doesn't take itself that seriously.

Mix and match party skills/setups.

I really like spending the time tinkering with my party to min/max.

I'll probably get flak for this but I feel like FF and JRPGs in general are at their best when they aren't being too serious.

Just the whole journey from Besaid to Zanarkand was pretty fun. Reminded me of something out of Lord of the Rings. Easily could have been turned into a trilogy if it was a movie.
