Amarant is highly under-appreciated, i mean dude is a straight up bad ass! But I gotta pick Zidane as my favorite, kid's just got too much swagger to be denied ;)

I think mine, and probably most people's problem with amarant is he came so late int he game and his role, or class really wasn't explained well. I have always avoided using him.

yeah freya is right with the first part. but in battle he is pretty good but i never done a full run with him. his trance is good too, if you actually get it in a useful time...

I really can't decide on my favorite FFIX character. It has many good characters and to me not one stands out above the others.
