Not the new ones made of thin bendy plastic, but an iPhone 5c (purchased esp because Final Fantasy games run on iOs ;)).

:D I'm gonna have a smartphone, finally. I last owned one in 2010.

Maybe I'll go back to delivering pizzas while I'm at it, lol

Do you remember when you first got a smartphone? They do everything but change diapers, for goodness sake.

I do remember when I got my first smartphone because it was only like a year and a half ago. I still use the same phone, actually.

Feels good to live in the future and have a mini-computer in my pocket at all times!

My smartphone is a Galaxy S3 which I got about 2 years ago now and still acts as much of a glorified alarm clock as my old phone did....

Dunno. my HTC is my first REAL smart phone. I've had various cheap Samsung and LGs that were droid but they had such low memory you couldn't so many smart phone things on them.

Also iphones are trendy pieces of poop imo. Of course I don't support ANYTHING apple makes.

The first smartphone I got was the iPhone 4s when I was 21. It was long overdue.

My first smartphone was the 5c too, got it in 2013. Delayed way too long on that. As someone who has played a lot of FF games on it, I think you'll be happy enough!

My first smartphone was a symbian-based Nokia 6120 Classic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nokia_6120_classic), which came out in 2007. Yes, there was a time when smartphone didn't equal touch screen phone.

It was actually pretty good. It could multitask like crazy. I once had it deliver internet to my laptop, while making a phone call, while having the phone play music and it all worked flawlessly.

I've never had a smartphone. I just don't go out enough, and don't use phones enough, for it to make any sense to buy one currently.

I could quote Psy and Spoony but I would rather just say it was an iphone 5c in 2013 and I delivered pizza at the time.

I got my first smart phone back in... 2004? It was a Windows phone. It was awful.

IMPORTANT question for Spooniest and theundeadhero:

What colour did you get?

I'm all about the blue.

Hard to say. What defines a smartphone? I've had a rather gradual increase in ability with each phone and I don't think there was a defining moment. I suppose my previous phone was my first Android one. My current phone is basically better than an iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S5 despite it being half the cost, so I'm pretty happy with it.
