I need to think about my vote. I really like both of these entries.

I love FFXIII for it's music/battle system but the story/characters aren't amazing. FFXIV is only a recently game and I'm having a great time with it, but I feel that I haven't spent as much time with it as I should.

This might be one of the votes that isn't a no brainier which one I prefer.

FFXIII's only chance was going up against an MMO.

FFXIV is better in literally every way (er, check that, FFXIII doesn't have a monthly fee), and that's not just my hatred for FFXIII talking.

Yeah as much as I'm okay with XIII in general, XIV was everything I wanted it to be and more.

Despite so much hate coming towards it, Final Fantasy XIII will always be my favourite Final Fantasy, maybe of all Final Fantasy even with the upcoming Final Fantasy. I always said that Final Fantasy XIII is the one that brought me to Final Fantasy universe, meeting new friend, most of them are friendly. Joining Eyes on Final Fantasy :) (I think I already said it dozens of times or even reach hundred times:D)
I had Final Fantasy VII Advent Children for years without even knowing it's one of the Final Fantasy movie, but after I finally came across Final Fantasy XIII walkthrough, I finally knew that Final Fantasy VII Advent Children is inside the Final Fantasy universe. Stupid me, only realized back in 2012 or 2013 (I forgot) there's one of the best game series. I kinda late to be a fan of Final Fantasy. So people have already played all Final Fantasy games up to now. Of course the upcoming Final Fantasy won't be coming to PC, a bit disappointed with that. But I'm still happy that they still continuing to create Final Fantasy games. Hope they will keep making them (with some hope, even reaching the impossible state, that they could or want create Final Fantasy for PC aswell, but oh well)

I'll choose Final Fantasy XIII :D

I heard that Final Fantasy XIV is awesome too, but unfortunately I can't play or buy it from SouthEast Asia :(

Nah, I'm okay with this result. =] I might have put FFXIV patch 2.4 lower than patch 1.23 and perhaps lower than XIII, but FFXIV as of patch 2.5 is great fun.
