I'm about midway through FFVI, like on the section of the floating continent. I wanted to know who'd be better for this end of the game and till the last. My usual party is Terra, Sabin, Edgar, and between Locke and Setzer. I need Sabin there because he's the damage tanking monk you always gots to have a monk. But yeah who'd you suggest I pick and why?

They're both good, it depends of who you decide to train the most. Personally, I prefer Locke.

On the Floating Continent? You can only bring three party members because you pick up Shadow there. I'd just stick with Terra, Sabin, and Edgar. Terra being your healer, Sabin the tank, and Edgar for his tools. You'll have four party members to escape the continent because Celes will show up later.

Remember to wait for Shadow. This is important.

unless your like me and even on subsequent playthroughs still do not know how to get him back on your team even if you wait for him.

Bet the dagger you find in the Cave on the Veldt at the Colosseum. Fight him and he joins.

Okay well now I'm past the floating continent and on the world of ruin. I guess this will fit more when I get all party members back. So then it will be easier to ask Locke or Setzer. Setzer ain't half but his physicals seem a little lacking in a way.

Locke is alright, but Setzer is the man.

I think you're better off with Setzer.

Setzer is one of the characters that must be recruited, as he will provide access to an airship. Locke awaits at the end of a dungeon that requires the use of two parties (although I guess possible with one or two characters each), so there will be more time to level Setzer up. Personally, I don't use Locke at all in the World of Ruin, even in Kefka's Tower. Everything he can do, I have someone else who can do it better, besides steal, which I don't need.

Locke, because in my current playthrough and henceforth will be the main way I stock my "medicine chest" with all the items in my inventory. By the time I went across the mountain range in the Castlemobile, I already had 99 tonics! Before the floating continent, I reached 99 potions!

Setzer, I just have a hard time hitting the slot machine correctly.

I'd go for Setzer. I like Locke's stealing skills specially for tonics but - Setzer is pretty good for gambles which you can use later on as the game proceeds. :)

Locke, because he's cooler (yeah I said it, cooler than Setzer), and in the end that's what really matters. That and it means you don't have to get frustrated by those damned slots.

I like Locke better for story purposes, but Setzer is also fun to use in battle. I also like to mug people as Locke because it's funny.

Right on, Fonzie. #Ayyyy

But in that case, you've gotta go w/ the guy w/ the flying casino. (wish the games were playable, though)

Locke beats Kefka in 1 turn, Setzer does not. Use Locke for 5ever.

For the Floating Continent, bring Locke. You can steal a Ribbon from AtmaWeapon.

THAT IS ALL

Man, this is a tough choice. You should make them breed and use the abomination that they produce.
