Oi! Help me test this Civ V Modpack I compiled! \ ^_^ /

I've recently begun playing around with a tool called 'MPMPM' which lets me make modpacks for Civ V multiplayer, so I stuck together a lot of my favorite mods and now I'm totally looking for people to try the pack with. It isn't fully stable yet, I'm sure, but seems fine in single player and now I'm hunting for desynch problems and whatnot that only show up in online multiplayer games.

If you have Brave New World and Gods and Kings and are interested in trying it out with me (or alone; it works perfectly from the three test games I've done so far barring some minor graphical problems with canals), I stuck it up on mediafire here (http://www.mediafire.com/download/16sclth2ctgc6my/Civ_V_MP_Modpack_v3.7z) and installation instructions are here (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=533238). You only need to worry about the Premade DLC pack section.

I prefer JdH's Civ V MP mod. It's a little finicky in how you have to start the matches (start solo, save, then reload and have everyone join), so if this works better let me know.

Hmmm . . . if you don't do that, where do the problems with JdH's pack start? Does the game hang on turn 1~10, or do people start desynching later on? I haven't gotten to test my pack out yet so I don't know how it performs, but if I encounter the issue the method you are talking about fixes, I'd like to know. :)

Nah, once it runs it runs fine, it's more the problem with how to get the game to start.

You see, the game tries to check whether everyone uses the same mods, but even if you are, it often doesn't recognize it correctly before you launch the game.

However, if you start solo, then save on turn 1, then quit and load the game file, then everyone can join without problems. Likely because it stops checking for mod configuration when resuming an old save.
