Or Late Late Winter Screen Name Contest, or Fall Time for Our Members in the Southern Hemisphere Screen Name Tourney. Your pick, but it's all the same. It's been a year since folklore hero Jiro has last hosted which LadyJuxtaposition has won, joining the ranks of fellow winning screen names such as o_O and Del Murder. This event shall run as it has always gone in the past. There will be names to pick in pairings, and your job is to vote for the name from each pair that you think is the better name. You send your votes to me in private thru Mognet Messages. I will be revealing the tournament tomorrow on Feb. 28! I will also provide the rules by then.

I call loads of people by their screen names when I talk to them. I'd say it's about a 50/50 split. Some people prefer one or the other and I have to train myself to use their real name. A few examples...

Levian - I always call him Lev.
Psychotic - I call him either Psy or Paul, I seem to alternate.
Shorty - Have always called her Sarah.
Lockharted (current username of Night Furry) - I called her Locky but she insisted I call her Tara so I spent about a week getting used to it and now I always call her Tara.
Shauna - It is a mystery.

When I talk to my fellow members, I guess it depends on the person behind the screen name. Some prefer to be called by their real names, and some by their screen names. Then there are those that don't particularly care what you call them. I am in that last category. Some call me Proto or Proot, and some call me by my real name. In lieu of this competion, how many EoFFers do you call by their screenames outside of the forums? I can't count how many times EoFFers have called me Shiny over the phone or in person. I have the sneaking suspicion they don't know how to pronounce my actual name. XD
I call loads of people by their screen names when I talk to them. I'd say it's about a 50/50 split. Some people prefer one or the other and I have to train myself to use their real name. A few examples...

Levian - I always call him Lev.
Psychotic - I call him either Psy or Paul, I seem to alternate.
Shorty - Have always called her Sarah.
Lockharted (current username of Night Furry) - I called her Locky but she insisted I call her Tara so I spent about a week getting used to it and now I always call her Tara.
Shauna - It is a mystery.

I think I'd call you Shiny, Shiny. :D

He did call me Locky a lot for a bit and it was weird.

That said, BoB will answer to anything really. Lonny BoB, BoB, Daniel, Dan, - I even called him Robert (as in Bob) and he answered and said nothing of it.

With that, let's see our four finalists in the Semi-Finals.

First, we have the winner of the Noctis Division, CimminyCricket. The name is new to the tournament, but it's also doing the best from his previous names.

Cim's challenger is Lonely Paper Star, the winner of the Prompto Division. The name has done well in previous tournaments so it may be time that it could do just as well as CimminyCricket. However, only one of the names may advance to the Finals.

In the next match-up we have Rabbits on the Run, the winner of the Lucis Division. Rabbits on the Run also happens to be the title of a song from Vanessa Carlton, but it's a relatively fun sounding name and a new screen name in the tournament. Sometimes newcomers can win a tournament, so it's quite possible Rabbits could win.

The challenger is Flying Mullet, winner of the Cidney Division. Mullet is what one could say a veteran screen name. It has done well, but has yet to win. Will this finally be his chance to win? However, he has Rabbits on the Run in his way at the moment.
