Will you buy FFX / X-2 HD for PS4?

The Final Fantasy X / X-2 remaster is due out for PS4 sometime in spring. Will you be buying? Maybe you have it already?

Nah, already own the original X for PS2 and the HD remaster of both for PS3. Don't plan on getting it again when I get my hands on a PS4 as I won't be selling my PS2 or PS3.

I have the remaster for PS3 as well - and I've only played an hour or so of it because it feels too much like the original, which I only finished four years ago.

I'll probably end up buying it as well so that I have another physical copy of the game. I played it on PS2, but I no longer have the console or a copy of the game for that platform. I bought the remaster for PS3 via PSN during a sale last year, but I only got around to playing like an hour of it. I got a PS4 not long after that, and now my PS3 lives in a box. It's not something I'll get at launch but I'll get it when the price drops.

Also they're not changing anything as far as I'm aware.

I already have them on my PS2, PS3, and Vita. There is no reason for me to get it again on PS4.

I don't know why, but I got these on the Vita. I was quickly reminded why I don't like X... So yeah, not gonna buy this game for the third time.

Apparently it's releasing on the 12th March. I didn't realise it was going to be so soon. Also seems like you'll be able to choose between the original and remixed soundtrack.

Why not? It could totally work. The Vita is a powerhouse and the lack of L2 and R2 buttons can be easily fixed with the use of the back touch panel. It worked for X, no reason it wouldn't work for XII. Personally, FFXII IZJS for the Vita would be a dream come true to me.

It's not that I wouldn't like to see a release on Vita. I have one, and an option for both platforms would be good. But other than FFX / X-2 Square Enix hasn't really supported it. They had a launch game, Army Corps of Hell, but that was a pretty poor attempt at support. With PS4 selling so well a Vita release might not be justifiable from the companies perspective (although saying that I can't say I know how well FFX / X-2 sold on Vita).

I have the games on discs for PS2, and I bought the PS3 versions digitally. Unless I get some sort of insane rebate on it because i have the PS3 versions, it's not going to happen.

I will buy it for the PS4. I never bought it for the PS3 since I kinda figured, with the way Square-Enix work, that they'd release it on the PS4 eventually for extra cash injection. =)

Yes I think I will. I only have my... 13 ish year old copy for the PS2 and I've never played the remake.

There is literally no reason to buy this if I already have it for the PS3. From PS2 to HD Remaster, there's a ton of extra content but from PS3 to PS4... nothing new.

I have and I did. I was very satisfied with it. My brother took some convincing but once he saw me playing it on the PS3. He changed his mind.

I already own both games for the PS2 and the PS3 so I don't need another copy.
