Middle names

Do you guys have middle names? Do you like them? Do you ever use them?

My middle name is Rafał. It's the Polish equivalent of the name Raphael. I don't really use it, though, aside from some really official documents. I'm not really bothered by it. My cousin also has it as his first name, so there's that. It's kinda stupid though how my Yahoo account cannot recognize Polish letters so people who receive emails from me see the sender as "Patryk Rafa Stefanowicz". Annoying as hell.

Also, ironically enough, my wife said there were always two male names that she really hated. How fitting that she would marry the guy that had them both :monster:

It's one of my brother's friend's middle names. My mom fell in love with it when she heard it.

I used to hate it growing up.. "Jamie Lee from Tennessee!" (My cousins teased me with that and it drove me insane) , but I'm fine with it now. And it's cool because that guy passed away when I was in high school.

And because I'm so narcissistic or whatever, my dog's middle name is Lee. Also I think it's cute as shit. Penny Lee.

My little girl's middle name is RoseMarie - Rose was my mom's middle name and Marie was her confirmation name (which she gave to my sister). So she's named after my mom and sister.

Like, I have people asking me 'what IS your last name?' a lot, and I like it, it's mysterious! :p I also just don't like sharing my surname on the internet - so anyone here who does happen to know it you don't need to write it down in the thread :p

Middle names are strictly for use in conjunction with the first name to demonstrate to whomever you are yelling at/for that you are extremely upset.

I have 2 middle names, named after both my maternal and paternal grandparents, I love my middle names Ronald William, but I didn't used to as a kid, but this was mainly due to the fact that people wound my up by calling me Pauline or some such name, and I was certain if they knew one of my middle names was William they would call me willy or something equally degrading to my childish mind, so I just didn't bother telling others.

Fun fact: my name is spelled "wrong" because the doctors filled out the birth certificate and my mom was too drugged to mention she intended for my name to have an alternate spelling.

Years later my mom told me she wouldn't be offended if I changed my name to how she originally intended it to be. But I think I'm probably too used to my current name.
