It was a movie by Broken Lizard yes, like club dread and the slammin' samon, but there hasn't been a direct sequel, no.

I hope they can capture the same magic. Most of their other movies aren't as good.

I don't think it will be able to capture the same magic. They fell pretty hard with Beerfest, and I think it's because they were trying to lean too hard on the success of Super Troopers.

I'd be interested to see what sort of storyline they'll have. Probably something to do again with their department in trouble and a drug haul. I hope they bring back the crazy Germans and the druggie kids (or some new ones). We'll probably see a new rookie, too.
