Eidolon Leveling

Has anyone got any tips on how you can level up the Eidolons? I am at Chapter 5, I just returned to Rubrum and my entire class are a mixture of level 26 and 27.

Can't say I have used the Eidolons much to be honest (I have only summoned Ifirit) as I find the Triad attack is a lot more useful in most combat situations then risking sacrificing a party member.

Never used Eidolons in 3 whole play throughs. Having to sacrifice someone to summon one was a bit of a meh mechanic, even with a raise or re-raise it still counted as a casualty for the mission score.

I enjoy using Eidolons. They don't seem to level up quick, though. Maybe it's because they're only in your party for a limited time. It might be faster if you use them on the high level dungeons when you're in mission mode.
