Article: Once again, Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD is released! This time for PS4

Square Enix knows you love Final Fantasy X so much that they gave you it again on PlayStation 4 a year after they gave you it on the PlayStation 3. You're super excited, we know. Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster has been released today, May 12th, for the PlayStation 4.

They have added a few things for you to experience if you didn't buy the remastered version for the PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Vita. The PlayStation 4 version has further upgraded graphics, cross save compatibility, and an option to switch between the original or remastered soundtrack. It also has the International versions that the PlayStation 3 had included such as the Dark Aeons in Final Fantasy X and Last Mission from Final Fantasy X-2.

Are you going to be getting this new-new version of Final Fantasy X|X-2?

I personally think it's a bit excessive but I do like the fact that you can switch between the tracks. I know some didn't like some of the redone version of some of the songs.

Well I guess this way people can buy it on their preferred systems. Maybe some didn't bother with the PS3 or they're kind of done with it and now they're excited about the PS4 so they think to themselves "Sure why not? I liked the game!"

I won't get it on PS3 or 4 because I have it on the PS2 and it works just fine. But I don't have it on a handheld for traveling or when my boyfriend is watching TV or whatever, so this way it's worth the money to me to get to see the new sphere grid and job classes

I have it on Ps3 personally. I don't have a PS4 or Vita so that solves that problem. Even if I were to get one of those systems, having it once is good enough for me. I can see how it would be nice for travelling but I don't travel often so that's probably better for you than me.

I have them on PS2 and the HD on PS3, so I'm good. But it's about time Square realized X is their best game and port it to every system. I look forward to the XBO and PC ports of the game :cool:

I would have liked if they stated this would be released for both consoles. I'd prefer it on my PS4 over PS3. Is there any difference to the graphics from the PS3?

Well I tried to include a gif I made of a comparison, it's a little better but meh not that much to really worry about. It was compressed when I made it as I used some freebie thing while at work rather than my own way I normally do.
