If I put them in the fridge they hurt my teeth

If you don't store them in the fridge, then they lose their crispness after a day or so.

Cold apples taste better.

In my experience, the best apples maintain their crispness outside for about a week. I would only place them in the fridge if I needed to preserve apples for longer than that, which is simply never the case. For reference, I'm usually eating Ambrosia, Honey Crisp, Pink Lady, (anything else from WA, USA), in that order of preference.

I've... never fridge appled. I store them in a bowl and they're okay for two weeks. I have discovered the Jazz apple after hearing of it randomly coming out of nowhere to be ridiculously popular and I can see - or rather, taste - why.

What is the Jazz Apple? I can't help but think it would taste fizzy or tangy in some way.

I like McIntosh Apples from the fridge. Actually I prefer all my fruits cold.

Depends. If I'm eating them within a few days, I just leave them where ever. They last for weeks in the fridge though, so that makes sense some times.

I too prefer most fruits cold.

I put them in the fridge but I usually blend them into drinks rather than eat them.

I don't usually have apples in my home. If I eat them they are usually elsewhere!
